Liu
Diancai, also known as Mo Shi and Lao Dian, was born in 1937 in Linquan
County, Anhui Province. He graduated from Zhanjiang Fisheries College
and is a senior engineer, a leading figure in China’s front-line art,
one of the top ten calligraphers and painters in China, a national
senior calligrapher and painter, a gold medal artist in China, the
lifetime honorary president of the International Chinese Artists
Association, and a centenarian art laureate of the Communist Party of
China. In 1992, he held a solo exhibition in Beijing. He has been
awarded titles such as the "Nobel International Art Prize, the World’s
Highest Art Hall Award, the United Nations Lifetime Achievement Award in
Art, the United Nations Art Medal, Doctoral Supervisor at the Royal
Academy of Fine Arts in France, World Treasure Artist, Contemporary
World Top Art Master, Visiting Professor at Tsinghua University Academy
of Arts and Design, one of the world’s top ten hall-level art masters,
Art Consultant of the New Era Cultural and Artistic Talent Center, World
