孙维平1947年7月生于陕西西安，1989年11月加入中国共产党。字河东、大平、京兆。号故道居士、天宝斋主、凤嶺山人、南坡居士、散关樵夫、又号永兴道人、雁塔墨佛、曲江渔隐、慈恩外史、嘉陵江船夫。曾任陕西省宝鸡市凤县文化馆、西安焦化厂工会、国营西安钟表元件厂党委宣传部等单位美术宣传干部四十年。现为国家一级美术师、国家特级书法师、国家一级书法师、中国国家书画院副院长、世界美术家协会荣誉主席、中国名家书画院名誉院长、世界和平女神香港基金会书画艺委会常务理事、中国书法美术家协会理事、中国国际文艺家协会博学会员、中国美术家研究院学术研究员、中国国学研究会研究员、（香港）中国书法家协会副秘书长、中国航天书画院理事、阿里巴巴国际书画研究院终身名誉院长、中国国际艺术館唯一一名名誉馆长、（台湾）中国书法家协会荣誉委员、世界教科文卫组织艺委会执行委员、首席艺术家，英格兰皇家艺术基金会永久学术顾问、台北故宫书画院名誉院长、客座教授。沈鹏艺术工作室＂专家组高级理事＂、欧阳中石书法艺术纪念馆副馆长、孙晓云（北京）艺术工作室＂中央级专家＂、CCTV艺术顾问、陕西省美术家协会会员、陕西省书法家协会会员、西安华西大学教授。2024年被中国对外事务办公室和欧州联盟外事部联合聘任为："中欧文化交流大使"荣誉称号。2024年4月被中华人民共和国文化和旅游部特聘为："文化艺术名誉顾问"。2024年在建国75周年之际荣获"共和国勋章·中國功勋模范人物"荣誉称号。2025年3月被外联部授予"外联杰出贡献专家"荣誉称号。2025年3月被美国华尔街卫视授予"国际文化交流大使"称号。2025年6月在纪念世界反法西斯胜利八十周年暨中国人民抗日战争胜利八十周年之际，由中国文联出版社出版的《从红场到長安街大阅兵双城记暨文化国家队方阵大阅兵一一五大文化战神封神榜》，书画家孙维平被封为五大文化战神。同月获"2025年胡润中国艺术榜单奖"。同期，中共中央对外联络部出版的《国际形势文化产业发展报告蓝皮书》，书中用59个頁码介绍其本人的书画作品。7月由国家艺术家档案管理中心出版的《世界的记忆大典》，用64个页码入编介绍其书画作品。2025年8月荣获"首届中国艺术金马奖最佳书画导师奖"。同月荣获"国际高峰艺术大家终身成就领袖奖"。8月又荣获"世界文化泰斗丰碑奖"。9月又荣获对外联络部颁发的"风华人物·国之桢干"荣誉称号。1980年拜徐悲鸿、傅抱石大师的学生，原重庆囯画院副院长杨鸿坤先生为师，受其亲传指教，并受原陕西省书协副主席李子青先生、中国美协原理事、陕西省美协组联部部长安正中先生亲点指导，书法作品多以榜书、行书、草书见长，兼有甲骨、大篆、汉隶、楷书等书体，行书、榜书大气磅礴、洒脱豪放，草书具有颠张、二王之神韵，毛体、于书之法度，更有徐渭、傅山之妙法、书作如行云流水、神采飘逸，有㳺龙惊鸿之态、腾蛟起凤之气势；代表作品有：毛主席"沁园春·雪"、苏东坡"赤壁怀古"、李白"将进酒"等草书作品。国画作品尤以人物、山水见长，代表作品有；《傅山作书图》、《薛瑄过凤县图》、《青藤狂书图》、《长城颂歌图》（6、5米）、《北京晨曲图》（30米长卷）、《秦岭云海图》、《峨眉山云海图》、以及用近三年时间创作的《浩瀚秦岭图卷》（240米长卷）等等作品，其作品气势恢宏、浑然雄壮，具有南方金陵画派和巴蜀画派传神细腻的特点；又有长安画派粗旷豪放的风格；有较强的艺术感染力。2009年4月在西安亮宝楼隆重举办"浩瀚秦岭.孙维平书画艺术作品展"，由原省党、政、人大、政协四大班等领导以及省美协、书协、省、市宣传部、新闻报刋电视台等部门的领导、记者出席开幕式並剪彩讲话。参加展会观众空前，反响强烈。2013年8月在江苏连云港博物馆举办"孙维平书画作品展"。五十多年来书画作品屡获大奖。曾获中华世纪艺术名家名作奖金奖、中华艺术华表奖金奖、首届人类贡献奖一一文化艺术类书法金奖、书作参展第三届中国艺术节大联展等。近年来书画作品荣获：庆祝联合国成立70周年纽约展，获"最具收藏书画艺术家称号"。2018年获"中国影响力书画500強特等奖"、2019年获"庆祝中美建交四十周年艺术展特等奨"。2018年至今荣获：中国航天书画杰出贡献艺术家、大国艺术工匠功勋人物勋章、国家红色文化十大品牌人物奖、当代书画艺术百杰、国宝级艺术大师荣誉称号、中国当代世界级艺术家、中国国际艺术形象大使、国家艺术功勋人物、俄罗斯文化骑士勋章、香港新文化紫荆勋章、中国艺术形象大使、纪念中国人民解放军建军95周年荣获"八一文化勋章"，二十大新文化领军人物勋章、庆祝福建号航母正式下水纪念勋章、纪念中华人民共和国恢复联合国合法席位50周年获"大国艺术工匠功勋人物"勋章、2024年中国春节成为联合国法定节日，荣获"中国国粹"四大天王"荣誉勋章"。2021年＂防控疫情、众志成城一一全球网络艺术展＂被国家文旅部授于＂艺术界抗疫英雄＂、"跨时代艺术楷模大师"荣誉称号；2020年8月"纪念紫禁城建城600周年暨故宫博物院成立95周年"举办的"故宫六百年书画名人展"，被组委会授予＂中国文化．百年巨匠＂荣誉称号。2024年3月在奥林匹克中法文化交流话动中作出杰出贡献，被组委会授予"奥林匹克东方艺术大师"荣誉称号。2023年9月在纪念抗美援朝胜利70周年之际由中朝书画名家联谊会、中国志愿军文化研究会等单位联合举办的"中朝书画名人交流展"中，荣获"中朝文化友谊勋章"。2024年3月在纪念红军长征出发90周年之际，由长征红色文化研究会编纂的《共和国红色文化楷模》大型画册荣誉出版，其书画作品收录画册。2024年4月，孙维平作为“海峡两岸文化交流大使”，由中华商务出版社出版发行的《水墨丹青两岸情》大型画册，其书画作品与中国国民党前主席马英九书法作品作为两岸文化交流出版发行，被誉为"两岸文化交流大使"。2024年4月由中国人物报道、国宾礼书画网授予"中华文化全球推广大使"。书画作品入选喜迎二十大、庆祝中国人民解放军建军95周年由中国邮政出版发行的珍藏邮册。2022年8月应华为集团任正非邀请，为华为集团向党的二十大献礼所出版的《任正非传》题写书名，同年4月为华为集团向香港抗疫捐赠的方仓医院题写＂华为与你同在＂条幅，受到了任正非、林郑月娥、孟晚舟的赞誉。2022年10月党的二十大会议期间，由中国电信、中国石油、福耀集团、华为集团、人民日报、阿里巴巴、富士康集团等单位赞助出版的《新征程·领航者（七大常委七大家）》大型书典和《党旗下的领航者》2023年台历，其个人与书画作品作为文化艺术界代表入编这两部大型典籍中。2020年7月书写习近平总书记语录："万物并育而不相害"，被国家刻碑陈列在瑞金、井冈山、延安等红色革命聖地。2023年3月被中国非遗发展中心授予"非遗金牌手艺人"。2022年12月，在悼念江泽民总书记大会期间，中央有关部门出版发行了《一代伟人.一代大师》大型画册，画册歌颂了江泽民同志的丰功伟绩，孙维平作为书画界代表为怀念江总书记创作了:"高瞻远瞩中华腾飞"书法作品，以及其它书画作品同时刊登在这本画册中。2024年元月，为庆祝共建"一带一路"倡议提出10周年，由中国北京星空浩瀚荣誉出版的"一带一路文化领袖绽放巴黎奥运文化名人殿堂暨庆祝中法建交六十周年"龙年台历，其书画作品荣誉入编。2024年7月在纪念中法建交六十周年之际，由中国美协.中國书协、国家书画院、中法文化研究会、法国卢浮宫、法国奥赛博物馆、中国国际文化出版社联合出版发行的"奥运文化传奇"大型书画集，其书画作品被编辑画集中，至在見证中法友谊与文化交流在奥运精神的輝煌与传承，至此荣获"法兰西艺术与文学骑士勋章"。2024年9月为庆祝中国第一颗原子弹爆炸成功60周年，由中华文化出版社出版，星空浩瀚文化研究会发行《四大艺术才子联袂巨献》巨著，其艺术作品荣誉入编发表。2024年8月书法作品入选第六届中国书法·兰亭书展。2024年10月书法作品参加秦韵杯大赛获优秀奖。2024年10月被中艺对话组委会评为"中艺国优名师"荣誉称号。2025年在庆祝故宫博物院建院100周年之际，由故宫博物院和中国国际文化出版社出版的《五大文化核心人物》大型画册，其本人及书画作品被授予文化核心人物，作品被刋载在画册之中。元月同时还有中华文化出版社出版的大型画册《中国书画泰斗人物巨作》其作品也在画册之中。2025年元月，由腾讯、爱奇艺、优酷、搜狐、酷六、今日头条等视频网站联合评选，荣获"闪耀中国2024年度荣耀艺术家"称号。25年3月两会期间出版的"书画特刋"，其书画作品被入编特刋中。有书画作品被俄罗斯驻华使舘收藏，並为国内有关学校爱心捐赠书画作品。又有诸多书画作品发表入编在：《艺术福布斯世界艺坛标榜人物》、《國宝级艺术大师》、《新中国艺术大师选集》、《中国影响力人物》、《艺坛丰碑》、《中国功勋艺术大家·强军丰碑》、《中朝书画名人交流展作品集》、《百年巨献·百年大家》、《2001一2005中国美术选集》、《近当代中国美术》、《共和国红色文化楷模》、《中国力量》、《1921-2022年中国艺术白皮书》、《中国近当代书画名家典藏》、《中国功勋艺术家》、《中国国际书画专家学者全集》、《国际艺术投资》、《中国投资》、《一代伟人·一代大师》、《中国艺术品软黄金》、《中国美术家人名辞典》、《陕西文艺术界名人辞典》、《中国书画名家大辞典》、《世界名人录》等百余部大型书典、刋物、杂志、贺岁台历。作品和传略被百度、搜狗、今日头条、人民网、央视网、中国网、中国文联网、中国拍卖协会网、中国新闻联播网、中国网络美术舘网、凤凰网、中国财经时报网、胡润富豪网、中国广播电视总台网、中国国家艺术官网、阿里巴巴网、中国美术家协会网、荣宝斋官网、企业家日报网、亚马逊网、知乎网等数百家网络、网站以及中国收藏杂志、艺术市场杂志、光明日报、陕西日报、西安晚报、华商报、中国贸易报、北京法制报、中华儿女杂志、延河等诸多杂志报刋宣传报道。书法作品入刻碑林，流传海内外。

Sun Weiping was born in July 1947 in Xi ’an, Shaanxi Province, and joined the Communist Party of China in November 1989. His courtesy names were Hedong, Daping, and Jingzhao. His pseudonyms included Gudao Jushi, Tianbaozhai Zhu, Fengling Shanren, Nanpo Jushi, and Sanguan Qiaofu. He was also known as Yongxing Daoren, Yanta Mofu, Qujiang Yuyin, Cien Waishi, and Jialingjiang Chuanyu. He served as an art publicity officer for forty years at various institutions, including the Feng County Cultural Center in Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, the Trade Union of Xi’ an Coking Plant, and the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of the State-Owned Xi ’an Clock and Watch Components Factory. He is currently a National First-Class Artisan, a National Special Grade Calligrapher, a National First-Class Calligrapher, Vice President of the China National Painting and Calligraphy Academy, Honorary Chairman of the World Artists Association, Honorary Dean of the China Famous Artists Painting and Calligraphy Academy, Standing Director of the Painting and Calligraphy Art Committee of the Hong Kong Foundation for the Goddess of World Peace, Director of the China Calligraphy and Painting Artists Association, Member of the International Association of Chinese Scholars, Academic Researcher at the China Academy of Fine Arts, Researcher at the China National Studies Association, Deputy Secretary-General of the (Hong Kong) China Calligraphers Association, Director of the China Aerospace Painting and Calligraphy Academy, Lifetime Honorary Dean of the Alibaba International Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute, the only Honorary Director of the China International Art Museum, Honorary Member of the (Taiwan) China Calligraphers Association, Executive Member of the Art Committee of the World Organization for Education, Science, Culture, Health and Welfare, Chief Artist, Permanent Academic Advisor of the Royal Art Foundation of England, Honorary Dean of the Taipei Palace Museum Painting and Calligraphy Academy, and Visiting Professor. He is also a Senior Council Member of the Expert Group at Shen Peng Art Studio, Deputy Director of the Ouyang Zhongshi Calligraphy Art Memorial Hall, a Central-Level Expert at the Sun Xiaoyun (Beijing) Art Studio, Art Consultant of CCTV, Member of the Shaanxi Artists Association, Member of the Shaanxi Calligraphers Association, and Professor at Huaxi University in Xi’ an. In 2024, he was jointly appointed as the honorary title of "Ambassador of China-EU Cultural Exchange" by the Office of Foreign Affairs of China and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the European Union. In April 2024, he was specially appointed as the honorary title of "Cultural and Artistic Advisor" by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China. In 2024, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic, he was awarded the honorary title of "Medal of the Republic-Chinese Meritorious Model Figure". In March 2025, he was awarded the honorary title of "Outstanding Contribution Expert in External Liaison" by the Department of External Liaison. In March 2025, he was awarded the title of "Ambassador of International Cultural Exchange" by Wall Street TV. In June 2025, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War and the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the book "From Red Square to Chang’ an Street: A Dual-City Parade and Cultural National Team Formation Parade-The Five Cultural War Gods" published by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Press honored the calligrapher and painter Sun Weiping as one of the Five Cultural War Gods. In the same month, he received the "2025 Hurun China Art List Award". At the same time, the "Blue Book of International Situation and Cultural Industry Development Report" published by the Department of External Liaison of the CPC Central Committee introduced his calligraphy and painting works in 59 pages. In July, the "Encyclopedia of the Memory of the World" published by the National Artist Archives Management Center included his calligraphy and painting works in 64 pages. In August 2025, he was awarded the "First China Art Golden Horse Award for Best Calligraphy and Painting Mentor". In the same month, he received the "Lifetime Achievement Leader Award of International Summit Art Masters". In August, he was also awarded the "Monument Award for World Cultural Giants". In September, he was awarded the honorary title of "Outstanding Figure, Pillar of the Nation" by the Department of External Liaison. In 1980, he became a disciple of Mr.Yang Hongkun, a former vice president of the Chongqing National Painting Academy and a student of the masters Xu Beihong and Fu Baoshi, receiving personal instruction from them. He also received guidance from Mr.Li Ziqing, former vice chairman of the Shaanxi Provincial Calligraphers Association, and Mr.An Zhengzhong, former council member of the China Artists Association and head of the Organizing and Liaison Department of the Shaanxi Provincial Artists Association. His calligraphy works are predominantly in large-character, running, and cursive scripts, while also incorporating oracle bone script, large seal script, Han clerical script, and regular script. His running and large-character scripts are grand and unrestrained, while his cursive scripts capture the spirit of Zhang Xu and the Two Wangs, the discipline of Mao’s style and Yu’s script, as well as the subtleties of Xu Wei and Fu Shan. His works flow like clouds and water, with a graceful and ethereal quality, evoking the posture of a startled dragon or a startled swan, and the momentum of a soaring dragon or a rising phoenix. Representative works include cursive script pieces such as Chairman Mao’s "Qinyuan Chun Xue," Su Dongpo’s "Chibi Huai Gu," and Li Bai’s "Jiang Jin Jiu." His national painting works excel in figures and landscapes, with notable pieces including "Fu Shan’s Calligraphy," "Xue Xuan’s Visit to Feng County," "Qingteng’s Wild Calligraphy," "Great Wall Ode" (6.5 meters), "Beijing Morning Song" (30-meter scroll), "Qinling Cloud Sea," "Emei Mountain Cloud Sea," and the "Vast Qinling Scroll" (240-meter scroll), created over nearly three years. His works are majestic and powerful, blending the delicate and vivid characteristics of the Southern Jinling School and the Bashu School with the bold and unrestrained style of the Chang’an School, and possess strong artistic appeal. In April 2009, the "Vast Qinling: Sun Weiping’s Calligraphy and Painting Art Exhibition" was grandly held at Liangbaolou in Xi’ an. The opening ceremony was attended by former leaders of the provincial Party, government, people’s congress, and political consultative conference, as well as leaders and journalists from the provincial art association, calligraphy association, provincial and municipal propaganda departments, news, newspapers, and television departments, who cut the ribbon and delivered speeches. The exhibition attracted unprecedented crowds and received strong reactions. In August 2013, the "Sun Weiping Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition" was held at the Lianyungang Museum in Jiangsu. Over the past fifty years, his calligraphy and painting works have won numerous awards, including the Gold Award for Chinese Century Art Masters’ Masterpieces, the Gold Award for Chinese Art Huabiao, the First Human Contribution Award-Gold Award for Calligraphy in the Cultural and Artistic Category, and the inclusion of his works in the Third China Art Festival Grand Joint Exhibition. In recent years, his works have been honored with the "Most Collectible Calligraphy and Painting Artist" title at the New York exhibition celebrating the 70th anniversary of the United Nations. In 2018, he received the "China Influential Calligraphy and Painting Top 500 Special Award," and in 2019, the "Special Award for the 40th Anniversary of Sino-American Diplomatic Relations Art Exhibition." Since 2018, he has been awarded the following honors: Outstanding Contributor to Chinese Aerospace Calligraphy and Painting Artist, National Red Culture Top Ten Brand Figure Award, Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Art Top 100, National Treasure-level Art Master honorary title, China Contemporary World-class Artist, China International Art Image Ambassador, National Art Meritorious Figure, Russian Order of the Knight of Culture, Hong Kong New Culture Bauhinia Medal, China Art Image Ambassador, "August 1st Cultural Medal" awarded for the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, New Cultural Leader Medal of the 20th National Congress, Commemorative Medal for the official launching of the aircraft carrier Fujian, "National Red Culture Art Meritorious Figure" Medal awarded for the 50th anniversary of the restoration of the People’s Republic of China’s legitimate seat in the United Nations, and "China National Essence" Four Heavenly Kings Honor Medal awarded for the 2024 Chinese Spring Festival becoming a UN statutory holiday. In 2021, the "Global Online Art Exhibition: United in Fighting the Pandemic" was awarded the titles of "Artistic Hero in the Fight Against the Pandemic" and "Master of Art Across Eras" by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. In August 2020, the "600th Anniversary of the Forbidden City and 95th Anniversary of the Palace Museum" held the "600 Years of Famous Calligraphers and Painters in the Palace Museum" exhibition, which was awarded the title of "China Culture. Century Master" by the organizing committee. In March 2024, he made outstanding contributions to the China-France Cultural Exchange at the Olympics and was awarded the title of "Olympic Oriental Art Master" by the organizing committee. In September 2023, during the "China-North Korea Calligraphy and Painting Celebrity Exchange Exhibition" jointly organized by the China-North Korea Calligraphy and Painting Masters Association, China Volunteer Army Cultural Research Association, and other organizations to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, he was awarded the "China-North Korea Cultural Friendship Medal." In March 2024, to mark the 90th anniversary of the Red Army’s Long March, the large-format album "Role Models of the Red Culture of the Republic," compiled by the Long March Red Culture Research Association, was honorably published, featuring his calligraphy and painting works. In April 2024, Sun Weiping, as the "Cross-Strait Cultural Exchange Ambassador," had his calligraphy and painting works, along with the calligraphy of Ma Ying-jeou, former Chairman of the Kuomintang, included in the large-format album "Ink and Wash: Cross-Strait Affection," published by China Business Press, which was hailed as "Cross-Strait Cultural Exchange Ambassador." In April 2024, he was awarded the title of "Global Ambassador for the Promotion of Chinese Culture" by China Personalities Report and the State Guest Gift Calligraphy and Painting Network. His calligraphy and painting works were selected for the commemorative stamp album published by China Post to celebrate the 20th National Congress and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. In August 2022, at the invitation of Ren Zhengfei of Huawei Group, he wrote the title for the book "Ren Zhengfei Biography," published as a tribute to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. In April of the same year, he wrote the banner "Huawei with You" for the Fangcang Hospital, donated by Huawei Group to Hong Kong’s fight against the pandemic, which received praise from Ren Zhengfei, Carrie Lam, and Meng Wanzhou. During the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in October 2022, the large-scale book collection "New Journey, Pioneers (Seven Standing Committee Members and Seven Major Groups)" and the 2023 calendar "Pioneers Under the Party Flag", sponsored and published by China Telecom, China Petroleum, Fuyao Group, Huawei Group, People’s Daily, Alibaba, Foxconn Group, and other organizations, featured the author’s personal and calligraphy works as representatives of the cultural and artistic community.
